SPACE as theme of Test-Portal 2005 where I was invited to create, was indeed measuring 6000 square meters. The Huge Dokland Hall was to be filled with 32 artists from all over the world without any walls. Since my experiment with printing in India and the development of photography material of an audition, I thought of starting a work that would be able to create some intimacy. All Planets in male and female version placed in a PhotoShop work, one week of scrolling 20 meters of photography along my computer-screen. A first big PhotoShop project with a sudden deadline for I had to sent it by CD ROM to India and than wait for the postman. I have learned a lot during this week, driving a programm not only with the mouse against mouse arm till creating a multi-layered picture in very sharp resolution. A whole new vocabulary. |

"Come Into Me" was a title of an installation that I wanted to make. It would be the excellent opportunity to make this kind of Midlife cry Recruitment office, win souls for the performance sect and do some intimate intakes for I was still looking for the text behind the imago a research to the Dramayama. After a brainstorm with Suchan I discovered the space should be completely dark. I don't know if it were because of the overload of big screens filled with moving images, the acousicts of a sea of sounds like a cathedral, the fresh grass on my floor, or the sheepskin under my table. The intimate intake in the dark was an overwhelming success for the audiences attending the festival the next 13 days. Lured into my installation by the sweetness and wondering for the print (it was invited at 2 other festival but I refused- Atlantis festival Amsterdam and ParkArt festival on tour in the randstad). Once inside, and informed by hostess Genant of the Power point lecture and later the video of a lecture, Peoples were curious to disappear for a while under the dark Altar in the center of my installation. First day I tried to record our conversations but it was too dark and spaced out sound in the back (presently I am waiting for the material of Klaas Kuitenbrouwer from Mediamatic, who loved recording our conversations in the infinite infinity of the dark) Soon I discovered that not questioning directing _ can you tell me how you wake up usually_ or the like. No just the asking for the image of the audience itself was interesting me and I was right. After all that festivity for the eye, it was the inner eye in biggest need to react. In no more that 1 or 2 minutes peoples started time and space travelling, memories from childhood to geographical relocations, weather reports of dark shorelines in the far east and intimate confessions, discovering the voice and disappearance of the visible, dealing without the imago of ourselves. "I promise you the Light" Was a line I took while getting into the dark, but off course it was only when stepping back into my installation, this personal solar system in a huge space, where one would step out and stand in the beam of light. Verticalise again and ... inscribe for the performancesect. To be ready for Initiation on 21th of June 21; 21 hours
